Culinary Education

My mission is to help people rediscover the art of cooking. I believe that cooking at home is a tool that not only improves your health but also unleashes creativity. I've had the opportunity to teach in both recreational settings and professional settings. I teach classes on various cuisines, and some of my favorites include Fresh Pasta Making, French Croissants, Mediterranean style dishes and healthy takes on comfort classics. Here I am with some of my students from Kids Cooking Camp at Sur La Table. Although I mostly taught adults during my time there, I was lucky to teach some future chefs!

As a baking instructor at Butter Lane Cupcakes in Manhattan's East Village, I not only taught cupcake baking class, but also designed and taught my own holiday cookie baking class. This is a scene from my "Cookie Swap" Class.

Here I am with one of my students from Project Renewal's Culinary Arts training program. This awesome program trains adults returning to the workforce for entry-level food service jobs. I developed a baking curriculum for the program.
